Presently, I work with white stoneware clay. My pots are fired in a forty cubic foot downdraft kiln, to 2400 degrees fahrenheit. The white stoneware brings forth the brightest colors in my glazes. Striving for pottery that is visually beautiful, comfortably functional and affordably priced have been my goals. By incorporating my own unique glazes, often combined with textured patterns, I have developed a recognizable style that prompts many customers to return for additional pieces. I derive great satisfaction from this blend of creating fine art and serving practical need.
