Wood Sculpture
Paul Olson's sculptures are found in collections throughout the United States and in England, Germany and Canada. He has received numerous awards, including "Best of Show" at the Edina Art Fair and "Honors Award" at the Uptown Art Fair, and he was an award winner at the 1994 Society of Minnesota Sculptors show.
Paul works primarily in wood, carving fine woods into forms that reflect human interactions and that often suggest grace and movement. He also works with wood mosaics, attaching small wood pieces over scrap wood that has been discarded by others to create beautiful forms.
