2017 booth # 123

I use a bright, opulent palette and densely laden, visible brushstrokes to create my oil paintings. Since my motif is essentially nothing - as I am interested in painting the air around things - my process is open to using whatever means necessary. From palette knifes to brushes, rags to squeegee, I work wet-on-wet, or alla prima, and oscillate between the illusionistic and abstract, gestural brushstrokes.
